Our approach

The advantage of CFD lies in the high spatial resolution of the calculations whereas the advantage of problemoriented simulation software (e.g. gPROMS® , ACM® , Parsival, Predici® ) is the depth obtained for the physicochemical models. We offer you a primary framework that combines process simulation software and databased modeling with CFD software to exploit the strengths of each method.

We can perform all of the steps of the complex CFD workflow:

  • preparation of three dimensional geometry models and meshing of the flow domain of interest (preprocessing);
  • set up and execution of flow calculations (simulation);
  • evaluation and interpretation of the results (post-processing).

We use the following commercial CFD software packages, in conjunction with our own in-house software:
ICEMCFD, Gambit, Fluent, ProAm, StarCD, Comet, Polyflow, CFX4, CFX5, CFX-Post and Fieldview.
