Overview of the construction of a UVivatec® module

Was wir Ihnen bieten ...

The UVivatec®-System for virus inactivation and disinfection is based on our superior UVC inactivation technology. When it comes to the treatment of biotechnological or blood- and plasma-derived products, our novel reactor design offers the best inactivation results while minimizing the damage to your valuable products.

As a superior alternative or supplement to common methods of virus reduction like heat, chemical disinfection, chromatography or filtration, the helically wound UVivatec® reactor inactivates even difficult, non-enveloped viruses like Parvovirus.

You will benefit from our new helical flow, single-use reactor with optimal hydraulic design for uniform treatment:

  • first-class cross-mixing with laminar flow by Dean vortices
  • narrow residence time distribution
  • precise control of UVC dosage without over or underexposure
  • virus inactivation without any additives
  • full inactivation capabilities even at very high extinction of the fluid
  • robust processing with no blocking
  • no cleaning validation thanks to the single-use module concept

The system is fully scalable, from a few millilitres of sample up to continuous processing of 1,000 L/h. Parallel multi-reactor configuration is also possible for a further increase in capacity. Our systems are expected to be the most efficient, safest and cost-effective treatment systems on the market. They may also be used in the food and beverage industries and other liquid applications.
