Our approach

The use of membrane technology covers a wide variety of different methods and tools. For process modelling and plant design, we use state-of-the-art steady-state and dynamic simulation models.

A number of laboratory and pilot units are available for determining the necessary process and design data. All these facilities are explosion-proof, mobile, flexible, fully automated and capable of continuous operation.

Our tools and equipment include:

  • state-of-the-art steady-state and dynamic simulation models;
  • laboratory and pilot units – explosion-proof, resistant to high temperature and pH-values, flexible and state-of-the-art;
  • membrane reactors for condensation reactions;
  • high-temperature membrane reactor with online GC;
  • hybrid unit combining distillation and vapor permeation;
  • modern analytical methods, e.g. HPLC, GC and CE;
  • membrane and module databases;
  • software for process simulation, modelling membrane performance and plant design;
  • standard interfaces for computer-aided process engineering software.
