Near-infrared spectroscopy is a well-established procedure for quantifying multi-component systems in chemical and technical processes. Compared with other analytical methods, NIR technology offers the following key benefits:
Crucial to ensuring optimum process monitoring, apart from the spectrometer hardware, is the process connection. This feature is offered by the SpectroBAY.system.
SpectroBAY® integrates the proven MATRIX-F® spectrometer from Bruker Optik with the complete processor and control unit (incl. software) and connection to the fiber optics.
Bayer Technology Services has already implemented a large number of process applications using SpectroBAY®:
- Online determination of concentration in liquid organic solutions at more than 100 measuring points;
- Quality monitoring of polymer melts up to 300 °C and 200 bar;
