Bayer Technology Services Presents Bioprocess Technology Solutions
Bayer Technology Systems (BTS) and Bayer HealthCare (BHC) have a joint stand (Stand E17) at the ESACT (European Society for Animal Cell Technology) trade exhibition and meeting. The topic of the event being held from June 17 - 20 in Dresden, Germany, is biotechnology with a focus on cell culture technology.
Uvivatec™ virus inactivation using UVC radiation
BTS is exhibiting innovation solutions for bioprocess technology at the joint stand. The Uvivatec™ system represents a significant contribution to improving viral safety in biological processes and products. With its highly specific mechanism of action, UVC radiation is virtually ideal for the inactivation of viruses in biological fluids without critical losses of valuable protein components. The system combines the advantages of UVC radiation with clever flow routing and a user-friendly disposable module concept that eliminates the need for laborious cleaning validation.
Online bioanalytics with the BaychroMAT™ line of products
On display are two innovative online bioanalytics products: BaychroMAT™ CellCount and the new BaychroMAT™ Bio HPLC. These products allow the fully automated, production-concurrent control of fermentation processes on the basis of cell count and protein concentration. These process devices include a newly designed, steam-sterilizable sampling valve combined with proven automation components.
BTS is also presenting an innovative bioreactor system for the highly efficient yet low-shear supply of oxygen to animal cell lines in suspension culture.
The ESACT Meeting is the world’s leading conference in the field of cell culture. It is held every two years in different locations throughout Europe.
